Introduction

Conversations on Becoming is a reflective retreat series created to offer a pause — a place for rest, honest self-examination, and the gentle work of inner renewal. Each gathering invites you to step away from the noise of daily life, slow your pace, and listen inwardly.

Through guided reflection, poetry, shared stories, gentle teaching, and spacious personal time, these retreats explore the inner qualities that help us live with greater steadiness, courage, and peace.

Rather than striving to become someone new, we practice noticing who we already are — and allowing growth to emerge with patience and care.

Core Intentions

These gatherings are shaped by a simple philosophy:

  • Offer companionship rather than performance
  • Create gentle spaces for reflection, honesty, and rest
  • Support people walking through life’s tender seasons
  • Honor depth over visibility and trust over urgency
  • Allow growth to unfold naturally, without pressure

This is not a retreat about fixing yourself.

It is a space to listen, to breathe, and to return to what is already true within you.

The Conversations on Becoming Series

Each retreat explores a different inner posture for living with greater steadiness and peace:

"It felt like something you were placing in my hands with care."

Who These Retreats Are For

These gatherings are designed for those who sense a need to slow down and listen more deeply to their lives.
You may find this space meaningful if you are:

Moving through a life transition or season of change

Living with chronic stress, illness, or emotional exhaustion

Carrying grief, loss, or unanswered questions

Feeling disconnected from yourself or your sense of direction

Longing for quiet, reflection, and spiritual or emotional renewal

Seeking a gentle community of others who understand life’s tender seasons

You do not need to have everything figured out.

You only need a willingness to pause and be present with where you are.

This is a space for those who are becoming — slowly, honestly, and with care.

Come as you are.

There is room here for your story.

Conversations on Cultivating Contentment

“Contentment is the reward of a quiet mind.”
If someone asked you, Are you content? — how would you answer?
For many of us, contentment feels distant — something we will reach when circumstances change. This retreat offers a different invitation: to slow down, listen deeply, and discover the quiet places within where peace can begin to grow.

Contentment does not come from striving.

It grows as we tend to what is already present.
Together, we will gently explore what feels depleted, what has been lost, and what your heart may be asking for in this season. As awareness deepens, space opens for renewal, steadiness, and quiet hope.
